Roman Space Telescope to Launch August 30 With 100x Hubble's Field of View

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launches August 30 aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy from Kennedy Space Center. Its infrared field of view is at least 100 times larger than Hubble's, making it a survey-first instrument for dark energy studies and direct exoplanet imaging via coronagraph — a niche Hubble and JWST cannot fill. Live coverage starts 6:20 AM ET.
