Migrant Boat Sinks Off Tunisia, Killing 14 From One Small City

A migrant boat carrying 15 mostly young people sank late Friday about 14 nautical miles off Zarzis, Tunisia. Fourteen of the passengers were from Ben Guerdane, a city of roughly 80,000. Only one survived, drifting roughly 48 hours before rescue. Twelve bodies were recovered by Sunday; seven were from one family. The vessel was believed headed for Italy.
