UK eVisa System Has Known Flaw Confusing Identical Twins' Records, Home Office Says

A UK resident with settled status was stranded in Spain after the eVisa system linked her record to her identical twin's. The Home Office confirmed twin confusion is a known issue but has not disclosed how widespread it is or whether fixes are systemic or case by case. A spokesperson said over 10 million people have used eVisas successfully.
