Charles Perrottet shared recording of alleged Nassif bribery discussion, ICAC hears

At ICAC on 24 August 2026, former Liberal MP Chris Spence testified that Charles Perrottet shared audio in 2021 allegedly capturing fugitive developer Jean Nassif discussing a payment to building commissioner David Chandler in exchange for an occupation certificate. Spence acknowledged the pattern of Perrottet sharing material about Nassif's adversaries "would look that way." ICAC is examining whether Liberal figures received Nassif donations for favourable outcomes.
