FCC Pulls HoverAir Versa Authorization After Drone-as-Camera Classification Attempt

The FCC revoked HoverAir Versa authorization granted August 9 as a camera, not a drone. Zero Zero Robotics argued the product wasn't on the Covered List for cameras, but the FCC defines cameras as critical drone components, and all companies are automatically covered for drones. The modular Versa pairs a camera with a separate Flight Kit that makes it a functioning drone. US backers report shipping-blocked status; HoverAir has not commented.
