Kagi Adds Single Toggle to Disable All AI Features in Search

Kagi announced a new setting under kagi.com/settings/ai that lets users completely turn off AI-based features in search. No major search engine currently offers a comparable full opt-out. Kagi also plans to surface the option during new-user onboarding, though that integration has not yet shipped. The subscription-funded model makes a blanket AI opt-out commercially viable where ad-supported engines face engagement incentives to the contrary.
