A dual Russian-Australian citizen faces up to 20 years in prison after being charged in Brisbane under Australia's 2018 foreign interference laws. Police allege he trained in Russia, enlisted in Ukraine's military to access intelligence, and passed it to individuals he believed were Russian agents. Russia's embassy denies knowledge of the case.
