Genesis's GV90 NeoLun, unveiled August 19, 2026, debuts the first independently opening and closing hidden B-pillar coach door. A dual-motion hinge slides then rotates the rear door; a frame 50 percent thicker than conventional vehicles, reinforced with steel tubes, addresses the side-impact weakness inherent to B-pillar-less coach-door designs. No independent crash test data has been released.
