OpenAI's Greg Brockman Now Runs Day-to-Day Operations Ahead of IPO — With No Title Change

OpenAI co-founder and president Greg Brockman has become the company's de facto operating chief, overseeing product strategy and its entire scaling organization ahead of OpenAI's IPO filing. His title has not changed since 2022. The consolidation follows a wave of executive departures since April 2026, including COO Brad Lightcap, CRO Denise Dresser, and AGI deployment CEO Fidji Simo.
