Top Latin American Right-Wing Strategist Charged With Attempted Femicide in Bolivia

Fernando Cerimedo, who advised Bolivian President Paz Pereira and helped elect Argentina's Milei in 2023, was arrested August 18 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and charged with attempted femicide. His partner, lawyer Nadia Beller, was shot three times the night before by men posing as delivery riders. Cerimedo's lawyer denies involvement. He remains detained on flight-risk grounds.
