Russia warns UK of "consequences" as British-made drones strike Russian mainland for first time

Russia's London embassy warned the UK of "consequences" after the Sunday Times and BBC reported that Ukraine used British-manufactured drones to strike targets inside mainland Russia for the first time. Moscow accused London of "deliberately opting for an escalation." UK-supplied systems had previously been used only on Ukraine's battlefield, not in deep strikes against Russian territory.
