Waverley council removes library book under a law designed to stop exactly that

Waverley council pulled "How to Sell a Genocide" from Bondi Junction library after a survivor of December's Bondi beach antisemitic attack complained. The book is under review, not permanently withdrawn. But NSW amended its Library Act this year to protect libraries from book-ban campaigns. If Waverley keeps it off the shelves, it could face a legal challenge under that law.
