New Hampshire Bans Student IDs at the Polls, Following Indiana and Florida

New Hampshire began enforcing a ban on student IDs for voter verification in June 2026 under House Bill 323, signed by Governor Kelly Ayotte. Indiana and Florida have passed similar laws. A Republican-backed federal proposal, the Save America Act, would extend the restriction nationwide if enacted. Two federal lawsuits challenge New Hampshire's ban.
