Reform UK's £50bn welfare plan targets savings far beyond Labour and Conservative proposals

Reform UK will publish a 50-page welfare plan on Monday proposing £50bn in savings — more than double the £23bn the Conservatives have targeted and far above the £2.5bn the IFS estimates Labour's revised reforms will save by 2029-30. Jenrick said 2.89 million of England and Wales's 3.7 million Pip claimants would see payments modified or withdrawn. Labour called it "fantasy economics."
