Ukraine Strikes Russian Space Facility With Domestic Flamingo Cruise Missile

Overnight on 15 August 2026, Ukraine struck the Progress Centre rocket facility in Russia's Samara region, roughly 900 km from the border. President Zelenskyy confirmed the attack, calling the Roscosmos-operated site key to Russia's war machine. The domestically produced Flamingo missile has a reported range of up to 3,000 km, opening most of Russian territory to Ukrainian strikes.
