Google announced a toggle, rolling out in coming days across Gemini and the Flow video editor, that lets users remove visible watermarks from AI-generated images, videos, and songs. Search support follows soon. The invisible SynthID watermark and C2PA metadata remain intact. Worth flagging: Ars Technica reported in July that cropping can often defeat SynthID.
