Stolen Cézanne, Matisse, and Renoir Recovered in Parma — Condition Unknown
Italian Carabinieri recovered three paintings — Cézanne's "Tasse et plat de cerises," Renoir's "Les Poisson," and Matisse's "Odalisque Sur La Terrasse" — during a search on 14 August 2026. Stolen from the Fondazione Magnani Rocca in March by a nine-person gang, the works are valued above 9 million euros. Their condition after five months outside climate-controlled storage remains undisclosed.
