Virgin Galactic Delays Delta-Class Commercial Flight to February 2027

Virgin Galactic postponed its first commercial Delta-class flight to February 2027, slipping roughly four months from the previous Q4 2026 target. CEO Michael Colglazier attributed the delay to "hundreds of relatively small but important installation tasks" and components arriving a few thousandths of an inch off spec, rather than a single technical failure. Ground tests are slated to begin later in August.
