ICAC hears conflicting accounts of $15,000 donation claim from opposition leader Taylor to Liberal faction

At NSW ICAC's Operation Rosny inquiry on 13 August 2026, Catholic Schools NSW chief Dallas McInerney denied securing $15,000 plus $3,000 monthly from federal opposition leader Angus Taylor for the Reformers faction. A contemporaneous message from associate Dylan Whitelaw claimed McInerney had. McInerney suggested Whitelaw "lied" and boasted. Taylor has repeatedly denied any payments. Neither witness recalls key details.
