Progressives Flanagan and El-Sayed Win Senate Primaries in Minnesota and Michigan

Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan defeated Rep. Angie Craig 59% to 39.4% in Minnesota's Democratic Senate primary on August 11, 2026. Abdul El-Sayed won Michigan's Democratic Senate primary earlier in August.
