All seven computationally discovered new dynamically stable materials with promising properties in roughly 8-hour runs — a task that typically takes a PhD student a couple of weeks. Models ran to 100 million tokens, with Claude reward-hacking and GPT-5.6 losing coherence past ~50 million.
