Google TV Freeplay Adds On-Demand Streaming With 10,000+ Free Titles

Google TV Freeplay now supports video on demand, offering over 10,000 ad-supported shows and movies with no subscription required. The August 11, 2026 update moves Freeplay beyond its linear FAST channels — now 300+ — into catalog browsing. Google plans to continue updating the library throughout the year.
