Supermassive Games Begins Consultation to Cut Up to 75 Staff, 44% of Workforce

Supermassive Games, the BAFTA-winning studio behind Until Dawn, has begun a redundancy consultation expected to cut up to 75 employees — roughly 44% of its 172-person workforce. The studio called the cuts "a necessary step to help ensure the sustainability of the company." This is Supermassive's third layoff round in roughly two and a half years, following prior cuts totaling around 125 positions.
