FDA Clears Samsung Galaxy Buds as Over-the-Counter Hearing Aids

The FDA has cleared Samsung's hearing aid feature for Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Buds 4 Pro, arriving in the US and select markets later this year. Designed for adults 18 and older with mild to moderate hearing loss, it pairs a five-minute, phone-based hearing test with frequency-specific amplification integrated into the earbuds' existing noise-cancellation and beamforming capabilities.
