Body-Camera Footage Shows Officers Misidentified Victim and Perpetrator in Fatal Southampton Stabbing

Hampshire Police body-worn video released this week shows officers handcuffing Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old University of Southampton student, while crediting his attacker's false account of being assaulted in a racist incident. Vikrum Digwa, 23, had fatally stabbed Nowak with a ceremonial kirpan in December 2025 but initially convinced police he was the victim.
