Pentagon Removes Four Post-Ceasefire Deaths from Iran Casualty List

Three military officials told the New York Times the Trump administration dropped four service members from the Pentagon's Iran war casualty list because they died after the April 2026 cease-fire. A Pentagon spokesperson blamed "temporary data disruptions." The soldiers — killed July 18–20 in Jordan and Iraq — had been honored at Dover Air Force Base one day before the list shrank.
