
Report: Trump Administration Removed Four Soldier Deaths from Official Iran War Count
Three military officials told the New York Times the Trump administration removed four soldiers from the Pentagon's list of Iran war deaths because they died after the April 2026 cease-fire (a deal to stop fighting). A Pentagon spokesperson called it "temporary data disruptions." The soldiers — killed July 18–20 in Jordan and Iraq — had been honored at Dover Air Force Base the day before the list shrank.
