Newcastle agree £34m deal for Monaco midfielder Bamba

Newcastle have agreed a deal worth up to £34m for Monaco midfielder Aladji Bamba, per BBC Sport. The 20-year-old Frenchman is due on Tyneside Thursday for a medical and to sign a long-term contract. Bamba made his first senior appearance in August 2025 yet ranked top five in Ligue 1 last season for tackles, duels won and successful take-ons among eligible midfielders.
