LIV Golf CEO seeking $350m to keep tour alive, cannot confirm 2027 future to players

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund withdrew LIV Golf funding after the 2025 season, ending a stream that exceeded £3.75bn across three years. CEO Scott O'Neil, appointed January 2025, is seeking $350m (£262m) in new investment. Team captain Martin Kaymer told BBC Sport O'Neil cannot confirm whether the tour will operate in 2027, as survival depends on investors committing.
