Five Thai Soldiers Killed in Southern Province as Peace Talks With BRN Remain Suspended

Ten gunmen killed five Thai paramilitary soldiers at a Narathiwat checkpoint on July 22, seizing rifles before fleeing. The attack came a day after a car bombing in the same province.
