Harry Potter casting director put 14-year-old Reggie Absolom forward for Club Kid role

Lucy Bevan, UK casting director sifting tens of thousands of children for HBO's Harry Potter reboot, saw 14-year-old Reggie Absolom for Potter, then put him forward for Arlo in Jordan Firstman's Club Kid, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Absolom, from just outside Oxford, was in the running for the title role. A24 lists the film as now playing in theatres.
