Perplexity Launches Teammates: Always-On Work Agents Running Jobs in Parallel

Perplexity has launched Teammates, work-focused AI agents the company describes as always-on and able to take on multiple roles within a workspace. Each can be assigned a different job, and those jobs run simultaneously. Progress is tracked in threads in the Perplexity app, and Teammates can also be reached in Slack. They are built on Perplexity Computer.
