Perplexity Launches Teammates, Always-On Work Agents That Run Jobs in Parallel

Perplexity has launched Teammates, work-focused AI agents that the company describes as always-on and able to take on multiple roles within a workspace. Users can assign each Teammate a different job, and those jobs can run simultaneously. Progress is tracked in threads in the Perplexity app, and Teammates can also be reached in Slack. Teammates build on Perplexity Computer.
