Ex-officer on murder trial says he fired gun at tree while thinking of suicide
Beau Lamarre-Condon, a former police officer on trial for murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, told the New South Wales Supreme Court he fired his police-issued gun at a tree in Royal National Park. He said he was thinking of taking his own life and wanted to test how loud the shot was. He has pleaded not guilty.
