Two-Year Treasury Yield Hits Two-Month Low on Early Midterm Results
The two-year U.S. Treasury yield fell to 4.546% in Asian trade Wednesday, its lowest in two months, as early midterm results pointed to a Democratic sweep. Bond prices rose, pushing yields down, since the two move in opposite directions. The 10-year fell 6 basis points to 4.906%, Reuters reported. The two-year later edged back up, still 0.8 basis points lower.
