Iran Says Four Oil Tankers Destroyed by Mines in Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Revolutionary Guard, a branch of its armed forces, said Wednesday that four oil tankers were destroyed after hitting naval mines (explosives placed in water) in the Strait of Hormuz. It said two are still burning and two more were seized for allegedly trying to use a prohibited southern route. The BBC has not verified the claim.
