Two-Year Treasury Yield Falls to Two-Month Low on Early Midterm Results
The two-year U.S. Treasury yield fell to 4.546% in Asian trade Wednesday, its lowest in two months, as early midterm results pointed to a Democratic sweep. Yields move inversely to prices, so bonds were bid higher. The 10-year fell 6 basis points to 4.906%, Reuters reported. The two-year later recovered slightly, trading 0.8 basis point lower.
