Kathleen Kennedy named head of ceremonies and content for LA28

Film producer Kathleen Kennedy has been named head of ceremonies and content for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic organising committee, LA28 said. She will oversee the opening and closing ceremonies. The opening ceremony is set for 14 July 2028 at the LA Memorial Coliseum and SoFi Stadium. Peter Rice, who previously held the post, stays on as an executive producer.
