Barbara Barrie, who played Elizabeth on Barney Miller, dies at 95

Barbara Barrie, who played Elizabeth, wife of Hal Linden's police captain, on Barney Miller, died at her Manhattan home aged 95, according to Deadline. Her daughter, Jane Harnick, reported the death to The New York Times. Barrie received a Tony nomination for Broadway's original Company and an Oscar nomination for Breaking Away (1979).
