Two people referred to Police after claiming to have voted more than once

The Electoral Commission has referred two people to the Police after they claimed to have voted more than once in an election. A referral passes a matter to the Police, who investigate alleged offences. The commission published a notice titled "Referral to the Police" on 28 October 2026. The notice does not name the two people.
