Cartin Collection Panel Restituted to Goudstikker Heirs Before Christie's Sale

A 15th-century Netherlandish panel, Resurrection of Christ, from the Mickey Cartin collection was restituted, meaning returned, to the heirs of Dutch dealer Jacques Goudstikker, ARTnews reported. The panel was looted by the Nazis and previously hung in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. Christie's is selling the Cartin collection across more than 10 auctions from November 2026 to July 2027.
