Palmer Luckey Says He Will Stay in California Despite Proposed Wealth Tax

Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey said he is not leaving California over Proposition 40, a proposed one-time 5% tax on billionaires' net worth, including unrealized and illiquid assets (hard to sell quickly). He told an invite-only press conference: "I'm not running. I am staying. I want to fight for California." Other billionaires pressed him to declare intent to leave in solidarity.
