CNN Reports Netanyahu Urged Trump to Strike Iran Before Israeli Election

CNN reported, citing two US officials, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried in recent weeks to persuade Donald Trump to launch a renewed assault on Iran. According to CNN, Trump did not give a green light before Israel's election on 27 October. Netanyahu's office denied the report. Trump has ruled out an assault until after US congressional elections.
