UN Inquiry Says Israel Continued Genocidal Acts in Gaza After US-Brokered Ceasefire

A UN commission of inquiry, a panel of independent experts, found on 26 October 2026 that Israeli authorities and forces continue to commit genocidal acts in Gaza even after the US-brokered ceasefire. Genocide is a legal term for acts intended to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group. Its findings are not issued by a court.
