HARC models Texas data centers tripling power-sector fine particle pollution

The Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) modeled planned Texas data centers, all grid-connected, tripling fine particulate matter (PM2.5, airborne particles under 2.5 microns) from the state's power sector, the highest since 2006. HARC says the rise could erase about five years of air quality gains. Many proposed projects are speculative, so the figures are uncertain.
