Bose Acquires Skullcandy; Terms Undisclosed

Bose has acquired Skullcandy, the Park City, Utah headphone and earbud maker founded in 2003. Skullcandy will operate as a separate brand within Bose's premium consumer audio business, and financial terms were not disclosed. The two companies had already partnered on Sound by Bose products such as the Crusher 1080 ANC, whose ANC means active noise cancellation.
