Bose Buys Skullcandy; Terms Stay Private

Bose has bought Skullcandy, the headphone and earbud company based in Park City, Utah and founded in 2003. Skullcandy will run as a separate brand inside Bose's higher-priced consumer audio business, and the financial terms were not disclosed. The two had partnered on Sound by Bose products, such as the Crusher 1080 ANC, headphones that block out background noise.
