Bose Announces Acquisition of Skullcandy; Financial Terms Undisclosed

Bose has announced it has acquired Skullcandy, the Park City, Utah headphone and earbud maker founded in 2003. Skullcandy will operate as a separate brand within Bose's premium consumer audio business. Financial terms were not disclosed. The companies had already partnered on Sound by Bose products such as the Crusher 1080 ANC.
