Alice Diop makes exhibition debut with Miu Miu project at Art Basel Paris

French filmmaker Alice Diop has made her first foray into exhibition-making with "Gesture of Consolation", a multimedia project for Miu Miu, the Italian fashion house, at Art Basel Paris. The show, housed in the Palais d'Iéna, looks at how Black women have been portrayed through history. It runs 21 to 25 October 2026, according to Art Basel's press dossier.
