Iran's security chief rules out removing enriched uranium from the country

Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said late Tuesday that "not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran." He did not rule out diluting highly enriched uranium inside Iran under monitor supervision. Dilution lowers the material's purity. The remark followed a meeting with Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, in Tehran.
